The Town of Red Hook Recycling Center is open year-round on Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Goods Exchange building is open for shopping on Wednesdays only from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Items for donation may be dropped off Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Trash & Recycling Collection

Trash and recycle-ables may be dropped off on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m..

  • 10 gallon bag: $2
  • 30 to 33 gallon bag: $5
  • 34 plus gallon bag: $7
  • Large items will be charged a per-item fee
  • Freon-containing devices such as small fridges, air conditioners and dehumidifiers: $15 donation
  • FREE: scrap metal, including microwaves
  • Properly sorted recycling is free (see pdf with rules)
  • Food scrap drop off is free (food scraps only)

Stickers

Permit Stickers have been waived at this time for residents of the Villages of Red Hook and Tivoli, and the Town of Red Hook. 

Special Notice - accepting all food scraps!
