NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR SEALED BIDS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the acquisition and installation of the “Town of Red Hook St Margaret’s Plumbing” will be received by the Town of Red Hook at the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 7340 South Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571 until 3:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday August 30, 2023 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Sealed Bids must have outer envelope marked as “Town of Red Hook, St. Margaret’s Plumbing.”
Bids must be accompanied by certified check or approved surety bond in the sum of 5% of the amount bid.
The work consists materials, equipment and labor necessary for the installation of one ADA compliant bathroom, two non-ADA bathrooms, and a kitchenette at locations designated by rough-in within the building. Work includes associated supply, waste, drain, and vent piping interior to the building in accordance with the New York State Plumbing Code.
Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically from the Town of Red Hook, Town Clerk at TownClerk@redhookny.gov, 845-758-4606, by mail, or by providing a prepaid UPS or Fed Ex account number. Bidding documents may also be examined at the office of the Town Clerk, Red Hook Town Hall 7340 S Broadway, Red Hook, New York between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, legal holidays excluded.
A pre-bid site visit will be held on Wednesday August 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Red Hook St. Margaret’s site.
Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the NYS Department of Labor under the provisions of New York State Labor Law, as amended, apply to this project.
The Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise.
