College Park and Forest Park Speed Limits to be reduced from 35 MPH to 25 MPH

Following the Town Board’s commitment to conduct an engineering study and an application to NYS DOT, my office has been informed that the request to lower the speed limit has been approved.  Over the coming months, the highway department will be ordering and replacing the signage.

We will continue to work towards the day when towns have home rule over their own roadways.  In the meantime, we will endeavor to invest in further studies to make all of our roads safer.
