STOP THE BLEED PROGRAM
Sponsored by the Medical Reserve Corps, this program will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at 10 a.m. at the Town of Milan’s Wilcox Memorial Hall, 20 Wilcox Circle, Milan.
This program was developed to show the average citizen how to stop uncontrolled bleeding in an effort to save lives. There will be a 30-minute presentation portion and then everyone gets a chance to try out using a tourniquet, direct pressure and wound packing. This is life-saving information, as anyone can bleed out within 5 minutes in a serious bleeding situation.
For more information, contact https://www.bleedingcontrol.org/ or the Town of Milan at 845-758-5311, Ext. 2.
