Red Hook Responds to Coronavirus
You should know your community is coming together quickly to take important steps to respond to the Coronavirus Crisis.
Thanks to the RH Central School District Staff and RH Education Foundation, drive through meal pick up is being made available starting tomorrow. For others who participate in the Meals on Wheels program, that continues. The Red Hook Harvest Program will be sending home weeks-worth of foods to families in that program.
Grocery Stores are preparing for seniors who are more susceptible to the virus, by implementing changes.
Hannaford has it’s Hannaford to Go pick up program.
Del’s Dairy is offering free milk this Thursday (3/19) between the hours of 12 noon and 3pm at their Rhinebeck location 6780 Rt. 9.
Another important aspect to the food network is our restaurants and coffee shops. Keeping the prepared food chain open and available is going to be important as some of our residents may be ill and unable to cook for themselves. A list is now available HERE on the Town’s website with more specifics HERE at the Red Hook Area Chamber of Commerce.
These wonderful local businesses will be severely impacted and your support during these next few weeks may make all the difference in the world.
Town facilities: Town Hall will be functioning in all departments throughout this period, but there are important changes. We have instituted a drop box policy for all business - located outside the front door. We will process all paperwork next day and mail back to you the relevant documentation.
