The Town of Red Hook is looking for a Full-Time Town Clerk/Tax Collector/ Cemetery Clerk. Must be a town resident. Responsible for performing administrative, clerical duties, records administration, tax and water bill collection, issuance of permits and licenses and provide assistance to the general public. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must. Notary a plus. Hours are 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday with two evening Town Board Meetings per month to record meeting minutes. Salary is $56,515, $10,070 and $2,497 for the respective positions. The Town offers an outstanding benefits package. This is an appointment to fill a vacancy in an elective public office. The current term expires 12/31/2021.
