Covid-19 Update
Dutchess County and Red Hook are experiencing a significant uptick in documented cases of COVID-19. The numbers locally are well above previous caseloads at any point during the pandemic. As of today, November 18th, Dutchess County is in a region that has 3.7% Positivity Rate - up from 1% posted in late September. Red Hook’s number is now triple previous high-count levels.
Two restaurants have had to temporarily close due to reports of an employee testing positive. There are active cases in all 3 RHCSD school populations and the High School remains remote until after Thanksgiving. For everyone’s safety please continue to follow the necessary protocols; wearing masks, washing hands, and social distancing.
